Image editing is a helpful tool to make pictures look better. In this class, we have used iPhoto, Picmonkey, Befunky, and Word. Through these browsers, I learned how to utilize pictures how they deem fit.
iPhoto:
pro: Its the simpler option for those not technology savvy.
Con: There isn't as many tools to use. Only Apple computers have this feature. My PC does not have iPhoto.
Word:
pro: A user can make their pictures into different shapes and can use different effects to make pictures pop.
con: Like iphoto, there is not enough tools.
Picmonkey:
Pro: There is many different effects, styles, and much more. It is probably one of my favorite picture editing. Most of the applications are free to users.
Con: A user is limited to some tools because not all of them are free.
Befunky:
Pro: Many options to choose from, including adding lipstick, whitening teeth, etc. The website is also free to use.
Con:Can be a little time consuming because there are so much applications.
Future:
I will probably use Picmonkey or BeFunky in the future because they are free. Also, I don't own an Apple, so I would not be able to use iPhoto. I could use Microsoft, but it isn't as complex as the other three image editing choices.
Tips:
- Use the enhance button in iPhoto to fix your image quicker.
- Remember to crop your pictures
- Every image editor has an application to take out red eye, except Microsoft
